The M. Rampur College is one of the oldest and premier Non-Govt. Colleges, established in the year 1980, situated in the revenue district of Kalahandi at 20.19 latitude and 83.51 longitude to cater the needs of higher education in one of the most educationally neglected areas of district. It was established against a rural back-drop catering to the needs of students mostly from modest back ground who cannot afford to go out and join other institutes to pursue their higher education and yet can get quality education at their door step. To bring the students hailing from backward classes, tribal pockets and lower-middle families at par with those from expensive and famed institutes is the major challenge that epitomizes the dreams of the founding fathers.
To provide access to affordable and quality higher education on a philanthropic basis, with a view to imparting ethical values and global level competencies for social empowerment and for the sustainable growth of our nation.
